Student Laptop Lease Program

Information or Resolution
All WVSOM D.O. students receive a laptop as part of the yearly tuition and fees paid to WVSOM. During the four year's of school this laptop is owned by the state of West Virginia and leased to the student. Upon completion of all academic and financial obligations, ownership of the laptop transfers to the student. If the laptop is lost or stolen during the lease period the student is required to pay the depreciated value of the device. The student will receive another device of equal value and technical specifications. During the IT orientation session at the beginning of the year, students sign a laptop agreement form that serves as the legal agreement for the lease of the laptop.
