Email change from student to alumni account

Upon becoming an alumni of WVSOM your email account will transition from @osteo.wvsom.edu to @alumni.wvsom.edu. This change typically occurs after September 1st, following a May graduation. Here are some FAQ's related to this topic:
1. When will my email address change?
The change will occur after September 1st. You will receive email communication throughout the summer leading up to the transition date.
2. How do I log into my alumni email account:
After September 1st you will log into your alumni account by going to www.wvsom.edu and clicking on the Campus Email link at the top of the main page. Your username and password will remain the same as your student email account. The only change to the sign in process is that you will use your current username@alumni.wvsom.edu as the email address instead of your student address.
3. What happens to the emails in my existing student account?
You will not lose any emails; these will automatically migrate over to the new account.
4. What happens if I have forwarding currently configured on my student account?
Your account will continue to forward email and no changes will need to occur.
5. How will my contacts and/or websites know about my new account?
We recommend you update your contact information with any person or site that uses your @osteo.wvsom.edu account. Any emails sent to your alumni email address prior to September 1st will appear in your current email account.
